Big Boy Room

Recently we decided to start transforming our guest bedroom into Jackson's big boy room. It is still a bit early, but my in-laws wanted our guest room furniture for their new house and we knew that eventually we would be wanting to give Jackson a new bedroom and transform the nursery into a playroom. We got Jackson bunkbeds because I know he will enjoy having them as he gets older and I am hoping to not have to do another room for him for a long while. We definitely will not be using the latter for the bunkbeds for quite some time. We found this cute sports bedding at Pottery Barn Kids which I love and I think it will turn out so cute when we are finished. Obviously we are in the beginning stages and we still have to paint, decorate, hang shelves, get a rug, etc. I am not sure when we will start transitioning Jackson to his new bed, but he LOVES his new bed and bedding so I guess that is a good start. Anytime someone comes to the house, he pulls them into his bedroom and says "Jackson's bed" :)
