Sesame Street Live: 1-2-3 Imagine!

Today was the biggest day of Jackson's little life so far...we took him to see his favorite friends Elmo & Cookie Monster at Sesame Street Live at Nokia! Garrett got us amazing seats through the concierge service at his office: row six, dead center. Jackson was so excited when we got there...and he should have been since he racked up on goodies. He got a new ball, a cd and a TEN DOLLAR Elmo balloon! Is it just me, or does that seem a little extreme for a balloon? Those people know what they are doing though...you should have seen the lines for those balloons! Jackson also had his first taste of popcorn and cotton candy...daddy said it was a special day so he could try the cotton candy (you all know how I am about sweets, so he just had one teeny bite). When Big Bird came on the speakers to tell everyone the show was about to start, Jackson screamed and was so excited! However, once all of the huge characters came on stage, combined with all of the lights and loud music, I think J was a bit overwhelmed. He was not scared, but he sat there with a blank stare on his face for the entire show. No laughing or dancing like he does when he watches Sesame Street at home. All that said, I think we enjoyed just having a nice outing as a family since Garrett is so slammed at work and has been gone so much. Hope you enjoy the pictures!!
